Hey friends I love to thrift shop and I love finding vintage one of a kind pieces that not everyone will own. I also love thrifting because it’s an affordable way to keep up with trends without breaking the bank lol. Just recently I purchased a lot of items from the Goodwill and thought I should share tips on what items you should be purchasing from the thrift store. So if your interested in knowing what items to purchase from the thrift store then just keep on reading.

Jeans.

Thrift stores is where you can find jeans in good condition for both women, men, and even kids. The first section I always head to is the jeans section first whenever I am thrifting. You can always find skinny leg, mom, and boot cut jeans. You can always find jeans in different colors as well. Let’s talk about the price usually range from 5.99 and below depending on what day of the week you go. Plus you can also snag good designer jeans as well depending on what thrift stores you visit. I do also tell people new to thrifting is that you need to give yourself time to shop. I don’t like to go thrifting when I am in a rush, because I feel like you need to be able to take your time and go through every rack & section so that you don’t miss the good things lol.

Shirts.

Shirts you can find all types of shirts in thrift stores in excellent condition. On my recent thrifting trip I brought a whole bunch of basic tees and graphic tees which I defiantly needed to replace my old ones. So when your thrifting take your time when your looking through the shirt section and go through every size even if its not your size. The reason being is that sometimes shirts get misplaced in the wrong size and you could potentially miss out on a good shirt lol. You can defiantly find designer shirts depending on what thrift stores you visit. The price range usually is 3.99 and below depending on what day of the week that you go.

Blazers/ Sweaters.

Over the years of me thrifting I have found some really good blazers and sweaters that I still have now. When you looking for a good blazer and/or sweater if your a woman defiantly look in the woman section but also check the men’s section because you can find some really good blazers and sweaters. You can defiantly find vintage and designer ones. The price ranges from 5.99 and below depending on what day of the week you go.

Shoes.

Thrift shops are the perfect place to find shoes and yes you can find all types of shoes. To include sneakers, boots, heels, and sandals and yes you can defiantly find designer shoes as well. It just depends on thrift stores that you visit. Just recently picked up some designer in good condition sneakers that I absolutely love and I only paid like 9.99 for them. When I did some research on google these shoes were originally cost about 600 when the original owner brought them. So can we say a good damn deal lol. Plus you can also defiantly find vintage and trendy shoes. So I love to look in the shoe section when I am thrift shopping.

Scarves.

Scarves are in abundance at thrift stores and you can find some very pretty ones. Yes even designer ones lol. All my scarves that I own have come from me thrifting them lol. I love scarves for the fall and winter seasons. I think they really make a outfit and plus keep your neck warm lol. You can get scarves at the goodwill for like 3.99 and below depending on what day of the week that you go.
