Thrifting Tips.

  1. Think About What To Thrift.

The first tip is to think about what it is that you are looking to thrift. For example, if you are looking for winter items such as sweaters, jackets, scarves, boots, jeans, pants, long sleeve shirts, etc. Having an idea of what you are looking for will keep you focused when thrifting.

2. Make Sure You Have Time.

I highly recommend that you thrift when you are not busy and have an off day from work. I usually go thrifting when I am off from work and don’t have any plans for the day. I can easily spend hours upon hours in Goodwill because I like to take my time.

3. Go Through Every Aisle.

It is essential to go through every aisle when thrifting because sometimes people put clothing back in the wrong size and aisle. I have found plenty of good pieces that I found in the wrong area. The Goodwill outlet has bins instead of clothing racks, but the same principle still applies.

4. Try Everything On.

As someone who thrifts constantly, it is important to try everything on. Sometimes, clothing looks good on the hanger but is not that flattering on your body when you put it on. The regular Goodwill stores have dressing rooms where you can try your items on. The Goodwill outlet does not have dressing rooms so in this case make sure that you are picking up items that you think you can fit and that you think will look good on your body type.

5. Have Fun.

The last tip friends is to have fun. I have such a good time thrifting; my favorite part is looking through everything and finding the items I love.

My Final Thoughts.

So friends I hope that my Goodwill haul and thrifting tips give you some inspiration the next time that you go thrifting. Thanks for reading and I will see you all in my next blog post.
