How To Start A Squarespace Lifestyle Blog In 2023.
Hey, friends in today’s post I am going to be sharing how easy it is to start a lifestyle blog in Squarespace. So let’s just jump into the post.

Free Trial.
When first decide to look into Squarespace you will start automatically with a two-week free trial. This free trial is amazing because it allows you to test out Squarespace and you can even create your blog and or website in that two-week time. So once you begin your free trial Squarespace is going to ask you a series of questions like What type of website are you looking to create? Squarespace gives you options to choose from. So most likely your going to choose a blog. Then the next step you're going to choose your template, which by the way Squarespace has some beautiful templates. Then you can start designing the template that you choose by dragging and dropping in your own information. So in that two-week free trial, I was able to create my whole blog just the way that I wanted it to look plus create blog posts.

Pick A Plan.
If you love Squarespace like me then this is the next step. So once your free trial ends then you have to decide on a plan that you want to choose. Squarespace has four different plans for you to choose from.
Personal 16 a month for the yearly option which upfront you will pay 192. The monthly option is 23 a month but in the long run, your paying more for the year which is 276. So it’s better to pay for the year upfront when you first sign up because you save money.
Business 23 a month for the yearly option which upfront you will pay 276. The monthly option is 33 but again in the long run your paying more for the year which is 396. So it’s better to go with the yearly option and pay the year upfront because you save money.
Commerce Basic 27 a month for the yearly option which upfront you will pay 324. The monthly option is 36 but again in the long run your paying more for the year which is 432. So it’s better to go with the yearly option and pay the year upfront because you save money.
Commerce Advanced 49 a month for the yearly option which upfront you will pay 588. The monthly option is 65 but again in the long run your paying more for the year which is 780. So it’s better to go with the yearly option and pay the year upfront because you save money.
I started with the personal plan which was more than enough for my needs. I would recommend just going with the personal plan when you're just starting out.

Pick A Domain Name.
After you pick your plan then you have to decide on what your domain name is going to be. Your domain name is www.blank.com most people usually just use their name. That is exactly what I did I just used my first and middle name. Some people use a catchy phrase to describe what their blog is about for example www.shoppingonabudget.com. Just remember when you're choosing a domain name pick something that is simple and easy to remember. Also pick a domain name that you are going to want to keep for the long haul, meaning that you're not going to get tired of your domain name. Also once you decide on your domain name Squarespace will let you know if the name you chose is available and if it’s not then you will have to go back to the drawing board to come up with a new name.

Now that you have your new lifestyle blog all you have to do is decide when you're going to launch the new blog. Continue to keep writing your blog posts and making tweaks to your blog as needed. Since you have a lifestyle blog which means your going to be writing about many different topics from lifestyle, fashion, beauty, self-care, and whatever you're passionate about. Just make sure that you keep all your different blog posts categorized so that you can stay organized for example all your lifestyle posts together, fashion posts together, and self-care posts together. I am about to do the same thing on my blog as well.
