Fragrance Notes.

When it comes to layering your perfumes with your fragrance mists I like to compare the notes to see if they would complement each other. So on Bath and Body Works fragrance notes are usually displayed on the back of the bottle. Normally perfumes don’t have fragrance notes on the box or bottle, so I just look online for the fragrance notes. This is so important because you don’t want to mix scents together that are not compatible and you are walking around stinking lol.

Lotions | Body Creams.

When layering your perfumes with fragrance mists don’t forget to add the matching lotion | body cream if you own it. So let me clarify: if you own the matching lotions to your perfumes or fragrance mists, be sure to add the lotion to your layering. You want to include this step because it helps the scent last longer and makes it stronger. Keep in mind if you don’t have the matching lotions or body creams it’s not the end of the world just don’t add that step.

The Next Steps.

Once I figure out what scents I’m going to layer I like to first put on the matching lotion or body cream to the fragrance mist on my skin. Then I like to spray the perfume on my skin than on my clothes. Next, I spray on the fragrance mist on top of the perfume on my skin and clothes.

I always like to carry my fragrance mist and body cream or lotion with me just in case I need a little touch-up throughout the day. I get so many compliments when I do this so I must be doing something right lol.
