Cell Phone.
The first piece of equipment that you need as an influencer is a cell phone. It can be an iPhone or an Android just based on your preference. I have used both in my influencer journey. I currently am using the iPhone 15 Plus. It’s important to have a phone because you can create so much amazing content. You can film videos in 4k, you can take pictures, you can edit your videos, edit your pictures, and so much more.

2. Camera (Optional).
The second piece of equipment to have is a camera but only when you can afford to have one. I know that cameras can be very expensive and when you are just starting in your influencer journey you may not be able to invest in a camera just yet. If you can invest in an amazing camera I use the Canon M50 which is an affordable beginner-friendly camera. So if all you have is your phone that is okay and you can still be successful as an influencer. Only upgrade to a camera when you have the budget to do so.

3. Tripods.
The third piece of equipment that you need as an influencer is tripods. Tripods are so important because if you film videos you need to use a tripod to put your phone or camera on. The same thing if you take your own pictures. You can get tripods very affordable nowadays. I have several tripods that I use for different reasons. Some are just for my phone and some are just for my camera. I also have different-sized tripods to fit my needs.

4. Lighting.
Lighting for an influencer, content creator, blogger, and UGC creator is so important. Lighting is important for your videos and pictures because it makes the quality better plus people need to be able to see you and what you are sharing clearly. Nobody wants to watch a dark video or picture. There are different kinds of lighting:
Natural Lighting - which is free you just have to sit in front of a window with the sun facing you. That means that you have to create content when the sun is out which is usually in the morning up until it starts to get dark. The only downside to natural light is that it’s not always sunny outside plus where you live you might not get a lot of natural light coming in. Meaning you can’t create content.
Artificial Lighting - which is lighting that you buy such as ring lights, LED light panels, box lights, and more. The good thing about these lights is that you can create content anytime that you want to and you control how much light faces you.
That is why I use a ring light and two LED light panels which makes my content look so good.

5. Laptop.
Having a laptop, desktop computer, or iPad is such an important thing to have when you are creating content. I use my HP laptop for everything I create all my blog posts for my blog, all my thumbnails for my YouTube channel, and so much more. If I didn’t have my laptop I would be so lost.

6. Audio (Optional).
Audio is another important thing for an influencer. Audio can make or break your video. If you find that when you create your video on your phone and the audio that comes straight from your phone is not that good, you may need to invest in getting a microphone to have better quality audio. The same thing applies if you are filming with a camera.
My Final Thoughts.
So, friends, these are all the influencer equipment must-haves I use and know other influencers use. When I first started creating content I didn’t have all of these things. Over the years I was gifted some of these things from my family for my birthday, and I brought a lot of these things with my own money when I could afford to.
